The Dura-Ridge recycled carpet mat effectively stops soil and water at the door; reducing the cost of cleaning labor and the cost and use of chemicals for clean up. The extra heavy-duty rubber reinforced “bi-level” cleaning surface will not crush. The solution dyed face yarn is easy to clean, resists fading and is UV stable. The mat allows dirt and moisture to fall below traffic level until it can be removed. The use of PET Polyester fiber derived from used plastic drink bottles and rubber reclaimed from tires reduces landfill waste by over 400 tons annually. A 3’ x 5’ mat uses approximately 60 recycled bottles.
